Trouble with BBC HD H.264 TS files

I have recorded h.264 .ts files from BBC HD on my DVB-S card but none of my media players can play them. i have downloaded h.264 codecs but it still does not work.
I have puma video converter which seems to read the file but when it converts their is audio but no video.
It seems like a codec but im not sure what to do.
