what can be done with a psp with 2.81 firmware

Hi,
I have been reading around the forum for the last couple of days.
my question is i just got a psp and i had to up date it to firmware 2.81 to play GTA:VC so i did....
then i found out you cant play any homebrew stuff, there is no downgrader yet right? not even a eloader?
i saw about a eloader for 2.80 so i guess 2.81 soon....
so anyway my question is what can i do with firmware 2.81 :
1.) Can i even change the font on my psp?
2.) Change boot video before games?
3.) Change start up video music?
anyway at all...
This may sound like a noob, but i would be pleased with any new infomation or help.

You probably have alot of waiting to do if ur not lucky because i started waiting for the 2.80 ELOADER since september so hear it is now. Good luck copping with your PSP 2.81.

so there is totally nothing i can do with it. only thing i can do is change my wallpaper haha....
thats abit bad. for me anyway.
when i got it, it only had 2.5 i think..... it was 2. something anyway. i would have been downgradable oh well i suppose you learn from your mistakes right?
but as i have only just got it, i could go back to the store make an excuse and change it for a differant....

you can play real umds on 2.81 and thats about it, its gonna be a loooong time for an eloader/downgrader as there isn't a working exploit for 2.81 as of yet.....
keep waiting.....
BTW - barrons, don't i know you from indieforums?

well what i have got to work on my psp is
pspwxp
and changed the wallpapers
anyone know any good threads or websites full of wallpapers? i want tekken and metal gear solid ones please.
someone on another forum reckons a eloader for 2.81 will be in about two weeks......
didnt eloader for 2.80 take from about last september?
