ok, i just started downloading torrents. i look for the ones that say "proper" 'cuz they seem to work the best when burning to dvd, but when there is no proper left i download the "dvdr-ntsc" or have downloaded "nordic PAL-dvdr". these seem to have problems when i burn them and then try to play them on my dvd player (but no problem playing on my computer).

just a little info:
i use fabdvd platinum to burn the disc. i also have fabdvd decrypter to decrypt. i use powerdvd or neroshow to playback on computer, but have a sony 2-in-1 dvd/vhs player on the tv.

anyone who can help, please respond. thankyou

ConvertXtoDVD will be all you need for AVI, fast, easy and great quality but the trial will put a watermark in your video: http://www.vso-software.fr/products/convert_x_to_dvd/ You'll never go back to DVD-R. As for your first post, I'm kinda confused. I thought I read in another post you were in Greece and Europe is a PAL region (NTSC and PAL will play on your computer). I have only downloaded a couple of DVD-R (too big and not much choice) and only those that would play in my region. I would imagine DVD-R can be converted from NTSC to PAL or vice versa but too much effort for me.

Sorry, my mistake, I sure am confused. Ignore the Greece angle, that was someone else.
