I heard this version do wonders...i have a 2.71 version TA-082 mobo CAn i upgrade?

No sorry you cant because you have a ta-082. However you can still run the homebrew enabler and devhook port for 2.71 and emulate 1.5 to play homebrew or emulate 2.71 to play your game backups.
