The problem im having is that when i put an devhook or umd software on my memory card, it comes up with data file corrupt, it has also done it to the original memory card that came with the psp.

please please help me,

what firmware version?

it should show an icon for Devhook, and 1 corrupt icon. (usually goes 1 to 1 for homebrew)
