This is probably a stupid question but I have searched and searched and I am sick of searching how do I get dvdx to play dvd backups off the HD

If your looking for the program DVDx then here it is:

This is a link to DVDx_v2 (lets u play dvd-video on ur xbox)

Assuming you have a chipped console and you already have networked your xbox to your PC then all uyou must do is copy it onto E: partition and use a executing program like boxplorer or xcommanderx (4got the real names :P).

IF YOUR ONLY TRYING TO PLAY YOUR DVDS OFF YOUR HDD THEN I SUGGEST YOU USE 'XBOX MEDIA PLAYER'.
