I recently installed utorrent and it work great the first night, the next day I tried to use it wont download files, it will download the name of the file, but not the data.
If I try to open file to download, I get a windows error message, " Application not found"
Along with the path it was tring to save. i.e. c:\documents and settings\owner...and so on
Any have any ideas?

You're opening the .torrent file and it says application not found? Check in your Windows Folder Options and make sure that uTorrent is set as the default program for .torrent files. Reistalling, like Danycacks pointed out, is also a good suggestion.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling about 5-6 times, same thing happens. I check in windows folder options and utorrent is not in the list, should I add a new utorrent folder? I did notice a torrent folder, but it was set to open with msn office. Which seems kind of odd.
I wonder if it is just recognizing the text and downloading it, and not the torrent files. Also my torrent files dont download in utorrent like they did when I first used it. It downloads like a windows file.
How do I get the torrent to download on utorrent, like it should?
Any ideas? thanks for helping me

you could always just drag the torrent into utorrent, maybe then it will associate with .torrent files again.

edit: when u are in folder options/file types scroll to torrent under "details for 'torrent extension'" click change, if utorrent is not in the list click browse find where utorrent is on ur drive and double click it.

click the download torrent thing, then click save, and save it somewhere. then close the window, go to the folder that you saved it in, and double click it from there and it will download in uTorrent. i think thats what you were talking about.
