I downloaded a movie and it has the following file types:
ntsc-DVDR.001
ntsc-DVDR.002
ntsc-DVDR.sfv
The .nfo file is blank.

I tried WinRAR and it didn't work. All the WinRAR files I've seen have at least one with a .rar extension. This doesn't have any.

Thanks Niobis. I posted my question there and no one has been able to help me yet. They also suggested using WinRAR and HJsplit but it doesn't work. HJsplit combined the files but the combined file had no extension and could not be opened by WinRAR or WinZIP. Thanks for your help anyways.

then you just need to add the extension (AVI or mpg or whatever), just right click it and choose properties.

It's not an mpeg or AVI. It's a dvd rip. Thanks for your help anyway.

well a dvd rip has to have an ext, whether its a video (AVI,mpg,VOB,) or an image(iso, img, bin, cue).

Jesus christ bananas.
A .001 is a WinRAR file. Find the lowest numbered of the files, or one that's called .rar, right click it, and choose "Extract here".
Period.

I've tried that. I've been using WinRAR for about a decade. These files don't work with WinRAR.
