I got the 2_71_US_firmware_update.rar and the Downgrader2.71FULL.exe

Before start do i need to know anything???

The mobo has no serial number on it so shpuld be ok but, do i need GTA????

I have devhook ready for installation as well

Would appreciate any help guys!!!!

Nice 1 - so it is a simple matter of upgrading from 2.6 to 2.71 then downdating to 1.5
Is it really that easy and is there a chance of bricking it?

It is that easy mate, but with all programs that writes to the flash, there is a slight chance that it may brick.
But on saying that i have done loads of PSP,s without a brick yet, but its up to you.
