GAME OVER!!! No Wii For Me!!!

Let me start off by saying DAMN! I was so close. I was a walmart and I was 5 people away then they told me sorry were all out. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I felt like I was going to cry. I knew that everyone in line before me that got the system was only going to use it for evil. I was torn apart from the inside. I'm am on a quest to obtain the Wii now and I will stop at nothing to get it before Christmas. But, I only have enough money to pay the original price so that rules ebay out. I must find a store that has been ontouch by the cold fingers of evil shoppers who only wish to sell or give it to their spoiled children. My quest begins won't you join me. we need to ban together and report information on possible stores with Wii's in stock. If no one wishes to help I understand, It will be one less to vast in my Wii glory.

funny at kotaku.com it stand that ppl at some places didn't even had to que to get a wii they youst walk'd right in the store and bought one.
After visiting their website i was shure no one wouldn't be able to buy one guess youre youst relly unlucky, huh

Yeah I'm Pretty unlucky. If only I had the money back when you could reserve one. Well, I'll just have to try as hard as I can to buy the Wii.

yea im wit u in the next two weeks i have to get one, i wonder how much ill waste its 250 plus tax mayby like 300 then a game 50 more 350 plus tax 370 the most but i have to get one i heard its so cool i just want to get one.

With tax(Slightly higher in my city) $271 for the system. We got the warranty for an extra $25(even though Nintendo hardware is basically flawless and everlasting). Two games @ $50 each, and one classic controller for $20. Not a cheap night, but the system was paid off over a few months of saving; and the games we were able to budget in. We're hoping to get a controller on payday, and another game after that(Something multiplayer). Then we should be pretty nicely set.

As for the Wal-Mart thing, I'm honestly shocked, stores in my area(Except for specialty shops like Gamestop) didn't sell out during their midnight openings; you must be related to Seyna Yamato(Obscure anime reference, yays!)

I saw on the news that Nintendo said that if anyone wanted the Wii before Christmas they should be able to get it because they are making 10X as many Wii's any sony's PS3.

That's probably very true. It's going to be a high profile item, no doubt. But not NEARLY as rare as the 2xmore expensive PS3. While fans want their system of choice REGARDLESS of cost, most parents would rather spend less and feel like they're getting their kids more.

Really, considering that Nintendo makes a killing just from the sale of the system ITSELF; which is quite the opposite of it's competitors; they're poised to make an interesting new rise in the marketplace. The only question is what kind of staying power they have.
