First of all, im not sure if this is not in the right forum

My download speed is usually 60 kilobytes (yeah bytes not bits) per second on downloads whether from torrent to limewire or on the internet downloading.

Here is the part i dont get.

whenever i start a browser or internet explorer download, the speed is at a whopping, well to me, 100-120 kbps but then drops down to 60 kbps in a matter of 5 seconds or less.

in bitcomet, it is differnet.

i download and it is at 60-80 usually, but whenever i minimize bitcomet, wait 3 seconds, open it up, it refreshes the speed to show you the current speed and it says 112 and numbers around that.

the speed then drops down to the average 60-80 speed, no matter if i have 1 million seeds.

My modem is a westell 327w that came from verizon.

because of this incident, i feel "cheated" of my money.

i didnt bother to phone them on account of the countless stories and no one getting help.

Get a more lightweight torrent client,(U-torrent),
Requires less system and internet recources,
But has all the features you need.
Enable protocal encryption, (to prevent Verizon from
throttling your bandwith).
