You can use Mac The Ripper.

The free version is version 2.66 (search for it), although it is outdateted.
The non free one is version 3 more info here http://www.ripdifferent.com/phpbb2/viewforum.php?f=26

toast is comparable to 120% i feel. It can support many file formats and different options to burn. toast is the best buring software for mac.

also if you want to get rid of movies menus and all the garbage off of the dvd just use handbrake convert the dvd to mpeg4 then use imovie hd and convert the file into a imovie project then send the file to idvd then burn it to dvd this way not only can you burn multiple dvd videos to one dvd disk but you do not have to deal with previews and everything else

Fast DVD Copy can remove menus, other langs, subtitles and bonus as well. One thing i do with handbreak is see if the credits are there own chapter as you dont usually need to see these, and rip it out as well. Unfortunately that is one feature Fast DVd copy lacks.
