Hi

Just wondering if I will be able to run my Wii using a component cable at 480p.

My TV is a few years old and slightly shit, but it still has the blue, green and red sockets (Y, Cr, Cb).

Will my TV be compatible with the component cable seeing as I have these 3 ports?

Many TVs that are not actual HD, will support component cable, which, in short gives a slightly higher quality image from a 480p signal. You'll probably notice a minor improvement. If the cable isn't expensive, it might be worth your while.
