ok..im getting the wii i basicly have it reserved...but..what do i need with it..of course games probably an extra controler but does it need a memory card? ive heard about the memory cards and stuff but..how do they work..are they like ps2 memory cards where they save game content and i should buy a couple..or..is it differnt. also is there anything else i might need? i dont know what exactly this is but a classic controler? and is there anything i can get that might make gameplay better? - i appreciate your kindness and time.

No it has 512mb internal flash memory for game saves and Virtual console games and you can extend that by using sd cards.
If you have HDTV buy compnent cables for better picture
A classic controler is used for SNES,genesis, etc all the virtual console games except for N64 and NES games for thos two you use a
N64-Classic controler or an ordinary Gamecube controler
NES-Wii-mote the Wii remote that comes with it
To buy games of the Virtual console like super mario 64 you need wii points how do you buy them?
-Over the Wii connect service with a credit card simplified.Over the Wii internet
-I think you still can at game stores you can buy like 2000 point card for 20us not 100% sure because im in Austrlia and im getting mine on the 7th of dec
