let me explain there emulator is having the same issues as the pc emulator when it comes to the level plunder in the sunken ship the stupid eel doesn't come out of the ship

Does The VC SM 64 ever lag or does it look crapier
Well, they are still patching a lot of things on the VC. Which, from what I've heard, is part of the reason there were only about ten titles available on launch day for download. It's probably also the reason that there haven't been other n64 titles announced yet.
Either way, I would expect them to be patching Mario in the future; how soon is unknown, but a call to customer care might result in them refunding points, if the glitches really are bothering you that much. It might be worth your time in that case.
I do have a question though; does anyone know if the VC version of Super Mario 64 displays correctly in the 16:9 resolutions? I'd like to get it, but my HDTV makes some things look.... off.
