i guess it depends on the store...i got my wii today, the gamestop i go to gets about 3 every two weeks..but most stores cant sell them until like..the day after thanksgiving, there should be plenty of oppertunites for you to get one before christmas holidays

I've heard the next big shipment is this week(equaling the initial release quantities) to be ready for Black Friday. Some stores like EB games are going to be holding back wiis for Friday. In any case, as one who still doesn't have a wii(And I tried)it sounds like it should not be that difficult to get one before x-mas(which is all I am looking for).

Something tells me a lot of large retail companies are holding back for Black Friday come-on-ins. Officially, as far as Nintendo is concerned, the system is out, and they don't care who sells them when in the US; but retailers like *POINTS REALLY BIG UGLY FINGER AT* Best Buy are known for deliberately withholding units to space out, and create the 'illusion' of extra shipments, etc. They did it with the 360 when M$ hadn't sent shipments in well over one month.
