Hello, I'm new to the world of PSP, I would like to run games off the mem stick and also play homebrews/emulators, is it possible to do so in this FW? I have read many guides to downgrade the psp to 1.50 which is supposively the best one, I have a TA-082, which can only be downgraded to 2.50? then how am i supposed to get it to 1.50? I have read that you can emulate it using HEN C and DeevHook, do these two need to be installed together on the psp, or only one is enough? the majority of the applications available for the psp come FW 1.0 and 1.5 ready, but never 2.0+, also there is a HIGH risk of psp brick if downgrade is tried on FW 2.71, could someone pls help me out here, i have read MANY guides, but they never seem to answer these questions, I would greatly appreciate it if someone could do so, thx a lot.

even using henc he wouldnt be able to go to 1.5 because it would brick his psp he could only go to 2.60 or 2.50
For a While i have escaped time but to return when they need you most to come back on a vendetta like a have thats just simply MAGIC!

The Guide is as simple as it gets, but what troubles me is that there is always the person(s) that say that it only goes down to 2.50 or 2.60, but again, the guide shows other wise, i'm guessing it's ok for me to do this then? is the psp brick possibility high if i do this procedure?, is it recommended is what i'm getting at.

ok, I followed the guide and everything works well, my question is, If i turn off the psp, it will go back to FW 2.71, now, to put it back to 1.50, what do I run? only DEVHOOK Launcher for 2.71 from the GAME selection and select FW 1.5 again and that's it?

it will go back to 2.71 if you turn it off but it can be put on sleep mode

It wont go back to 1.5 cos he has a 2.71 PSP!
It will go back to 2.7 if you turn it off, and yeah to get back into FW 1.5, just run DevHook again.

It would because he is only emulating FW 1.5 through DevHook and not actually flashing to FW 1.5.
