ive burned Need for Speed Carbon, and it intalled on the computer but it doesnt allow me to play it. a message pops up and says "cannot locate the dvd-rom, please insert the correct dvd-rom, select ok and restart application"

can some please help me?

Do you have a DVD-ROM drive? On your drive, it should say somthing like CD-Writer/DVD-ROM Combo.

Thats what mine says anyway.

EDIT: I don't know why, but whenever I burn back-ups of games, I always get that too, never figured it out.
It is probably talking about you need the original disk to play. If you burned a copy, then just ask a friend and then emulate it your computer (or somthing like that)...

You can't play copied PC games without having the original disk in the drive.

There is a way to get past this by obtaining cracks. For example, no-cd/no-dvd cracks.

Yes you need a no cd crack/patch/game-fix to get games working without the CD/DVD - you can do a google for them. One for Carbon is here: [removed]
