Hey Guys i had to do a re-install of my os now everything is good but my
azureus is downloading slower than before i did the install not sure whats wrong i never did no port forwarding or nothing b4 and it worked just fine now after my install i did the whole port forward thing and everything and its still slow not sure why so i hope this helps you help
me here we go

i opened three ports in my FW 6881-6883

i did this 6 times once for tcp and once for udp

i also have this on my FW

i guess this is standard

now as for my router i have a d-link di-524 wasnt sure if this is correct but its as close as i can get to what was stated in the tutorial and i opened ports 6881-6889 on the router only

this is the page i did it on as you can see on the bottom
and here is what it looks like done

im thinking it might be because of my sharing i followed the Azureus guide to sharing torrents so i did as it instructed here are those pics

and as you can see from the last picture my ratio aint looking good
so hopefully these pictures help you figure out whats going on i always use to have green all along the bottom and faster downloads

thanks in advance for your help!!

you shouldnt use port 6881 for any downloading from torrent sites
its blacklisted most places, and is often throttled by isp
so change it

Such a broad portrange is unnecessary, just pick 1 port in the 50000-60000 range, or try port 1720.
Also, read the bittorrent safety guide by Rav009 here : http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/395674

good looking out guys. I changed the port but still my downloads suck. im heated right now b4 i did the os reinstall my speeds were crazy fast. now im getting slow downloads i dont understand what can be so different. other than b4 my install i never did any port forwarding and i was getting awsome speeds and i have cable 15 meg connection i should be ripping thru these downloads. i plugged directly in the modem to see if it changes and nothing still the same speed. is it possible that dell didnt configure my computer exactly like it was when i bought it. is that possible please let me know . Can that effect my computer performance...

Thanks In advance..
