Erasing DVD-RW

Hello everyone, when creating my backups, I used RecordNow, and always test it on a DVD-RW.
So when finished, I've only been using the quick erase, instead of the hour long full erase. I haven't run into any trouble doing this but I was wondering what everyone's thougts were?

that the way i do it too, i've got 2 dvd-rw's that i've done the quick erase probably 100 times each on and they still work fine.
