Correct and right mate, TA-082 users are lucky enough to run back-ups.
I havent ever used HEN C, so i dont know much of the way it works.

henc is kinda unsatble cuz it takes like 4-5 goese for it to execute. hopefully on hend it will execute on startup or somehow get out on the flash so its always executed!!!

Yeah i remember seeing something about if you hardreset your PSP you have to load HENC again.
Maybe with the release of HEND it might be EXE from the XMB, just a thought...

o0km made a variation to henc that would auto execute it once the psp had been booted and is very stable. Although i imagine hend will improve this even more. And if you relink the music files on carbon it works like a dream :)
