i have this psp that has 2.6 fw, but im wondering if it will work on new games, because i already reserved metalgear portable ops. and since a lot of people had problems with the new gta and fw, will the same happen to metalgear?

Possibly not, as the new games will try to make you upgrade before playing it.
Do you have a TA-082 PSP?
