i have 1.5 and i can emulate up to 2.71 i just want to know if there is a dvehook that can emulate 2.71se i know i can "upgrade" to it but i just dont like the idea of upgrading a perfict 1.5 when there is a devhook around.

no, 2.71 SE-B'' can no be emu'd yet and it shouldn't. 2.71 SE-B is one way to go and 1.50 with Devhook is another. You ca't have the best of both worlds.
