I heard, that there is no need to use UMD to play from memorystick and use homebrew, when i update my psp to some special 2.71 firmware ?

touran22, thanks, it works, exept that if i want to launc devhook0.43, then the psp displei turns black, stays like that about 30sec and then shuts down. I have some kind of devhook0.4X, it starts, but i actually dont know, what to do with that...n00b:P
I put NFS Carbon ISO fail into the ISO folder and Carbon works perfectly.
I copied Burnout files to the PSP and it wont start. If i choose burnout from the game menu, the screen turns black and psp shuts down.

Burnout legends doesn't work without a UMD in the drive.
So go to the recovery menu and turn NO-UMD off and then insert a UMD!

Damn, i have some kind of Devhook0.4X and it starts perfectly. I put on devhook0.44 and it gives me a black screen after starting.
Anyway, when i start devhook0.4X, i choose UMD gtavcs.iso, firmware 2.71 (flash), cpu clock 222/111 and boot select reboot XMB. When i start tha game, it just goes back to the psp menu and i cant see GTA VCS icon in game menu any more.
Where is the problem?

VCS loads with "no umd mode" so foret about the devhook for 0.4x.

Yeah make sure you have 2.71 SE-B3, then put the iso in your ISO folder and go to GAME-->Memory Stick and select the game

well, i have SE-B2. How can i get SE-B3 and what devhook should i use with SE-B3?

You dont have to use DevHook at all, just install SE-B3 and then run the ISO from GAME-->Memory STick
Here are the instructions/info on SE-B3:

Note: You must already be upgraded to SE-B2 before updating to SE-B3.
