To download:
1) Connect to IRC using a program called MIRC (from download.com)
2) Connect to an EFNET server
3) Go to channel #xbins
4) Follow the instructions
5) Download what you need from the FTP site

there are a whole slew of ways to backup your movies, check the dvd-r for newbies forum, pretty sure we even got guides too. and the software.

XBOX Media Player 2.4 will play them.. also i think there is a proggie call DVD2BOX that will do it for ya
