Whats the problem? When the analog button is at rest, i can see my character walking down or to the right. Can anyone tell me whats the problem? Thx.

the same happens with me on need for speed ! i think if you take off the face plate and centre your analog and put the faceplate back on it should work fine :)

You can't just take the face plate off, you have to disassemble the whole PSP, heres a guide:
