Hi

I'm using Nero 7 to burn 3 image discs but i'm finding it impossible. With the first file it tells me that the file is too big to fit on the disc i was using, so i have bought 800Mb discs. This hasn't solved the problem as now it asks me to use CD-R/RW discs (??). Also, I've opened the images with notepad and they appear to be blank, could this be the problem?

Are you burning the images using the selection under Recorder-Burn Image in Nero Burning ROM or something else? What file extension do they have?

Hi

Yes, I'm using the Recorder - Burn image route. I'm not sure about the extension of the files as windows explorer only states 'image file'. I would say those are .cue files.

You might search the forum just to make sure, but I think I have seen comments about the latest version of Nero not doing .bin/.cue files.

There is a note on the Nero site that states an image created for a DVD or CD can only be burned to the same type media. So you can't burn a CD image to a DVD, or vice versa.

Could there be something wrong with the image file, yes - it could be corrupted, or you may have gotten a bad download.
