i was wondering if i could use any USB headsets for the PS2. can anyone help me with this and what headset would be best for online gamine.thnx.

If you want a headset go for the madden headset which is currently $50 or go for a logitech usb pc headset which will probably run $20+ depending on sound quality, both are pretty good choices... the old sony/socom headset wasn't that great.

ya agreed. the socom headset was uncomfortable and didn't really have good sound quality, i was thinking of getting just a logitech computer headset, so these would work good with the ps2 rite?

Yeah it would, Just make sure it is USB compatible and isn't the kind that plugs to the microphone/speaker port =)

Can you show some pictures inside of the headset..Hopefully you can post some picture of the socom headset....Plz help me I want to try to sodder my headset together..
