o.k, i'm pretty knew at these so bare with me here goes: i've seen and tried the MKV w/subs transcode guides they got here and it's to long and complicated for me, so i thought i could make it simpler, i tried PSPvideo9, Xilisoft PSP converter, 3GP converter, Allok Video to MP4 converter and Apollo PSP video converter, and i finally found one that works!!!
1. Install CCCP or K-lite codec pack which ever you prefer, onto your computer (to see and view MKV w/ Windows 10 or hihger on PC and help Allok transcode it)
2. once you finsih downloading the MKVextractGUI.zip; unzip it to the same folder where MKVToolnix is installed to.
3. open MKVextractGUI, click the ... next to the input line, and browse your drive for your MKV file, and open it.
4.you should see track id's for audo, subs. video, numbered 1-however many there are.
5.check the one next to the subs, and click Extract button on right. should take a few minutes
(depending on your type of subs, you may have to convert them into .ssr or .srt)
6. once subs done extracting open allok and add your mkv file. look on right for green arrow, highlight MKV file, and click it to set subtitle for video (remeber step red)and go done to output format and choose AVI.Should take couple minutes to transcode, it'll say mision accomplished when done.
7. then you can either transcode it with allok again and choose Sony PSP MPEG-4 output format or did what i did and transcode it with pspvideo9 either one works it's just what you prefer and are comfortable and confident with.
8. once done transcodeing open up MP_ROOT folder, that PSPvideo 9 makes automatically once installed (get here pspvideo9.com)and trasnfer it over your psp and voila! an mkv file to psp w/ subs!!!\
technacly AVI, but who cares!?!?!?
sorry, if not good first time, took about a week or so to find out, will try to put screen shots (if i can figer out how, stop laughing!!!) works i tried it, so it's tested, oh yeah, i'm new hope to see you guys around and make new friends, i'm ervinred90, duces2
