Nero 7 essentials burning dvd-rw

Hi, ive just bought Nero 7 Essentials to replace my preinstalled nero3.
The problem is that now all the dvds i burn dont play in the stand alone dvd player. Why is this happening? Whats different? Is it something to do with the speed it burn at ?

Also how do i get into Nero burning rom 7?

What media are you using?
What speed are you burning at?

Also, Nero burning ROM should be in start menu or Nero StartSmart, uner Applications.

Thanks ripper. Only problem is that i dont know what you mean by what media i am using? nor what you mean by dvd speed.

Ok what brand of disk are you using, eg. Sony 16x DVD+R disks or TDK 16x DVD-R disks.

And also, by speed, I mean how fast are you burning you disks at? Like 4x, 8x or 16x?

My disk is SONY 4.7gb DVD-RW 2x/1x
I used these with Nero 3 andthey worked fine.

I think i am burning at x2. Though not sure as the user guide with Smartstart doesnt work, the hpyerlink is dead :(
