Trouble with Band of Brothers Episode & Menu....

OK. So ive search the webs sites: doom9, dvdrhelp and the forums here for answers to the "episode" DVD problem. Not much luck...what ive got is 2 sets of ripped VOBs in 2 different folders, the first and then the second episode from disk 1 of Band of Brothers. Only DTS audio and I only need the actual episode as opposed to the whole DVD. So is there a way to take the menu VOB from the original disk or an mpeg and either edit it so I can add new buttons to the animated menu or use it "as is? and be able to attach the two episodes to it. The last step for me is to run the image through instant copy to make it fit on a dvd-5. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The way i did band of brothers was as follows:

I ripped all of the episodes onto the hard drive. I used TMPGEnc DVD Author to create a basic menu system for me and was able to have a movie image (Band of Brothers) in mpeg format for the background on the menu. I select the relevant VOB's and put two episodes on each disc with no extras. I cut out the talk at the start of each episode with DVD Shrink.

I dont think that will be much use to you ;-)

Also, why do you want to create an image and burn it to disc? It would be easier to place the contents into a VIDEO_TS folder and burn that to disc.

Thanks Oriphus. Im sorry i didnt clarify that, it doesnt matter if its in a VIDEO_TS (as it is now) or a disk image. i also used ChopperXP to cut out the end credits on the 1st episode and the intro on the second so its more like watching a movie of the 2 episodes. what i would like to do is have the intro menu so I can either watch the two in a row (like VOB 1-7) or select an episode individually and some how do this with the menu from the dvd.
