They've got bigger targets than faulty straps and updates that aren't 100% right.
Wireless will never be 100%; it's an unfortunate truth, it's just where wireless technology is right now; this is why I always try to avoid it like the PLAGUE.
And faulty straps is too arguable. You don't have any way of telling how much force was put on the controller. The real question there, is how many times did the player fling or pretend 'throw' that remote, putting stress on the strap. The game doesn't tell you to let go of it. It says to use the strap, as a failsafe of sorts, in case you accidentally let go. One accidental slip is NOT going to cause that strap to break, it would take a number of throws and swings, and possibly spinning it around on the string. I hate to say it, but as bad as I feel for the guy (His pictures are up here) I sincerely doubt his use was entirely orthodox and within instruction parameters. If my wife buys a new purse and starts swinging it around on the strap, and yanking it all about for hours in ways the strap wasn't meant to be tugged and yanked, then it will inevitably disconnect in a couple day's use.
My point is, if the controller genuinely set in someone's hand firmly, and the strap is just sitting on your wrist, it has no stress, and will not suddenly just slip off, if it were really that weak, it would slip off while you were putting it on. I have a very hard time believing it wasn't abused or misused. But maybe that's just me, cloth straps aren't exactly a 'new technology' I'm pretty sure that we, as a society, have really figured out how they work at this point.

Yep, 360 has wired controllers (I started with them). But the wireless is great, using 2.4Ghz+RF functionality for a very strong signal.
As for the PS3, I don't *think* it has a wired option, but I've been wrong before.
The Wii has no wired option, technicially speaking I suppose that someone could MAKE a wired controller that connects via the ports on top, but it would be begging for all kinds of problems, because kids would yank their systems off the shelf across the world. Not to mention the fact that most games probably don't even check that port for a controller, unless they're actually designed for a 'Classic Controller' or a GCN controller.
There may very well be some degree of control/delay implemented into the games, but if there is, it's not noticable to any degree; which I am very pleased with. I DO very much look forward to game companies really getting a load of titles out for the system; I really want more variety, I guess you could say I've got launch blues, much like I did with the 360 last year, and I'm sure that PS3 users have the same feeling about now.
Now, what the news and media should be focusing on is Jack Thompson's recent and complete failure to get Rockstar's 'Bully' banned from the state of Florida, for being a "Columbine Murder Simulator". I would love to see a news network cover THAT one, just imagine CNN making him look like an unintelligent Dolt. Priceless! :D

Would be nice but they are more interested in covering the endless tennis game of politics and mindless media 'news"
everything plus into the WII mote(GC V2 controller included),do know what power the wireless is?

No clue there, lol. No clue whatsoever. I've heard rumor that it's modified USB. If that's true, I would expect it to have conforming voltages too.

Oh, lol. It's bluetooth.
But I would like to add, there is a relay of IR in there too, from the poorly named 'sensor bar', but the way it's all working, I don't believe that adds any delay at all. It's a constant null signal, that sends consistently the same; and only serves as a compass of sorts, so that the Wii can tell it's orientation. Because of it's nature, I see no reason it could cause a delay.

It's all white. That's definitely a shortcoming. I haven't been pleased with white as a system color since.... Ever.
Heck, I even went through a bunch of trouble to repaint/gloss my dreamcast black, because it was UGLY in white. Looks much better in black, with orange power LED.... Although, I can't say I haven't been tempted to swap it out for a blue led. I love black and blue together. :D

I wouldn't have minded silver. But the small white box looks... less than desirable. The Dreamcast's design wasn't bad, I simply preferred black, and seeing as there's no kind of warranty in existence on them, I figured, hey, why not repaint it for my liking?

I use regular ol' paint; whatever is cheap, a little sandpaper, and lots of patience.
I've gotten darned advanced with it too, even doing some light texture work lately. And when you take your time, it can be gorgeous.
I guess the biggest suggestion I have is just doing very thin layers, and letting them dry for a minimum of 8 hours, sometimes 24 hours per ultra thin layer, that way you won't have to bother with all this primer-coat nonsense that I hate. It took me a good week just to paint my xbox completely(Including seal coats) but it turned out absolutely gorgeous.
The real keys I've found are thin coats, from a good distance of 2-4 feet(Further emphasizing the word THIN); good dry time; and numerous coats to deepen the color. Also, putting a good backing color doesn't hurt, it's a similar theory to priming, but a little simpler. I usually do one or two quick black layers before whatever color I want to use, it makes them come out as darker/stronger colors when I'm done. Unfortunately, I neglected to do this with the DC, one of my first paint projects; but I've considered re-doing it like I did my xbox and other things, perhaps I'll upload some images one of these days.

Rofl, yeah I just use spray cans. I live in an apartment complex, so every now and then a neighbor hears me doing it and thinks someone is tagging our complex, lol. But it works darned well with some care. I'll be sure to upload pics of my works tonight, you guys might like them. The XBox has undergone some heavy modification on top of the paint job.

I like how he says "These and other issues" at the beginning of his post. Making it clear that he didn't actually read the previous posts at all. Because there was only one real issue brought up, and it was game specific.
rofl.
I still need to stop being lazy and get you guys those pics I promised.

Quote: u should post some pics...
Xbox:
I went for a sort of faded or phased silver/grey look here. It looks very good in r/l with the blue leds. They still look alright in the photos, but you should not that these are 10,000 mcd leds in royal blue. Very strong, very deep blue. Gorgeous.
Mouse:
I wanted to go for a really unique look. So I dissassembled it, painted two coats of black, for undercoating. I let that dry a good eight hours, and proceded to do the over-color. I used a mix of techniques to give it a crackly look, which I then sealed using what some would consider an excessive number of sealant layers, to give it a very solid smooth feel, while having a unique appearance.
File Cabinet:
Y'know those horrible, ugly metal filing cabinets? What's even better is when yours is tan color. It's the tackiest thing on EARTH. So I opted to redo mine in a theme for two of my favorite game series. (Fanboys, keep in mind, I said series, not particular entries in them)
Oh, and if you look closely, you'll notice the Quake one has green fog around it(like on the quake 4 ads,/packaging/etc) and the UT logo has a grey fog/smoke, which having been a fan of UC(Yes, I know, it's a shameful entry to the series in most fan's opinions) they always used to advertise with a deep grey fog/smoke in the background. So, without further adieu:
The 'U' had to be hand painted, because the stencil I made was (long and short) not going to work out for my needs on this project.
Quote: ...im curious to see how the xbox and DC came out.
Well, I didn't get any DC pics, it's kind of buried, but I may be re-doing it soon anyways, I'll try to get you some pics, it was my very FIRST painting project, so it's not my proudest moment, lol.
Hope you guys like; considering that I took so long, lol.
