SNES Station Save State Help

I'm not really sure where this post should go but here is seems fine..

I'm trying to load the save state for my SNES game through ZSNES, throw in some cheats and put it back on SNES Station.. Well I successfully transfered the SNESStation.cbs to my computer using codebreakers and my USB drive.. I then extracted the certain save state out of the .cbs file using the program PS2 Save builder.. I loaded it up with SNES9x because I tryed loading it up with ZSNES but it would error out and close.. So anyways I loaded it up with SNES9x and input my cheats, saved the state, and am now trying to reverse the process and put it back in to the SNESStation.cbs file.. I did that.. BUT I try to load the save state and it's either 'not there' or it ends up loading the original save state.. I even deleted the original but then I get nothing.. Does SNES9x use different save state methods then SNES Station..? and why does ZSNES freeze & crash when I try to load the original save state up?
