Hi - i have used DVD Shrink for some time now and all of a sudden when I try to backup a movie it gets right to the end of copying and they I get an error message.

PLEASE HELP!!! I have no idea what the problem is. I have tried to uninstall the program and when I reinstall it, it tells me theres a problem with "Code 5" and I have to "Abort" the installation.

Hi KelFol,

First:Nero API version: 6.6.0.13

This version of Nero is a bit old, you should update to the best and most stable version of nero6 (free), here is the correct way of doing it;

Write down your Nero serial# and then uninstall version 6.6.0.13 from your system using the general cleantool found here:

http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/enu/General_CleanTool.html

Next, download and install version 6.6.0.18 from the links provided, re-enter the serial# and you're good to go.

nero version 6.6.0.18 updates:
Package 1

Second: If you're using shrink with AnyDVD version 6.0.8.5, uninstall AnyDVD and install the current version 6.6.8.8 to correct compatibility problems which could crash your PC during the write phase. Get the update here; http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html

Also, the log appears to be incomplete, if you could repost the entire log, it would further help with seeing what's going on.

Try the suggestions and let us know how it's going.
