I tried to open up BBMayo's guide page and it's not available. Is it being updated? Very useful guides and I refer to it often for newbies and myself! I hope nothing has happened to BBMayo and his wonderful guides!

well where the hell was I? I never saw this thread! wait...... I joined AD in May.... a month after that post! Gezzzzzz I never knew BBMayo.... but he was one of the originals that I got to know his guides.... along with Suba Pete! All I can say is, "the newbies here will miss you, BBMayo..... your legacy lived on till you closed your guides down!" I have always passed on your guides to the newbies that needed them. Now they are not there and I just found out trying to give it to another newbie ...... I checked it out and ..... webpage gone! You will certainly be missed ........if you ever decide to make a new webpage with new guides to it, please drop us a line! AD is missing you.

True those 2 members where one of the early guide writers of DVD Backing up and all other things. But scuba Pete's Site is still up and its as good as BBMayo's guides.

yes I know about scuba Pete's guide site! And of course it's great! No doubt. But when you lose a member as BBMayo, there is a ripple in the universe that can't be fixed! That's all I'm saying!

I am with all of you I miss his guides. he after all was the reason I finally learned how to back up my movies (I learned from him and miss his advice :( ). Plus of course a few others around here as well.

Perhaps he'll pull a Michael Jordon (lots of others like him too) and come back from retirement.

Yes alkhol has made some good guides and is the man to go to now.

@gwendolin

No worries. I actually have posted a few other guides in my profile page a part of my links. Check them out their under my guide section in the links.

Also our cricket team is really killing the pomeys :). But i have to say for us to really get the Ashes back and for it too really rub salt in the wounds we have to go back to England and beat them there and then we are the champs.

I just learned the news. Mayo's site taught me everything in the early days with decrypter and shrink. A sad day.
