Newbie needs help with GSpot...

Okay...so here is the problem, The movie plays, but the audio is playing ahead of the video, and the video is choppy at some points. I ran the video through DivxFix and the GSpot. I then did the rendering in GSpot and it replied with this, on the bottom line:
{SRC}-->>--{A}-->[AVI Splitter]>--{B}-->[ffdshow raw video filter]>--{C}-->[Video Renderer]

Failed to connect Output pin 0x00a0c374 {"Stream 00"} on AVI Splitter to input pin
0x044abc5c {"In"} on filter 0x018232c0 {"ffdshow raw video filter"}.ConnectDirect{} failed. Error: ox80040207: There is no common media type between these pins.

Any help on this would be very much appreciated on what I need to do to fix this.
