PSP crashing when accessing memory card

I upgraded my PSP FW to 2.71 SE-B last night. I have managed to do something that has made it so my PSP hangs then shuts down if I try and access the memory card in the game menu. I can access the card through the other sections, music, photo's etc and also from my pc over the usb connection.
please help i'm in a right pickle.

make sure you have an ISO folder in the root of your memory stick, i think that should fix the prob.

Make sure you have a GAME folder as well as the GAME150 folder and try removing any eboots you currently have in there and see if that helps. Have you done any fiddling with the recovery menu??

I've sorted it now thanks. I downgraded to 1.50 then upgraded to the new 2.17 SE-C firmware.

I had that problem on my mates sons PSP, i upgraded to se-b from se-a but it kept hanging at the GAME menu and switchin off, so i just got chaos zero se-b auto installer and it worked fine.

What the heck dude?? are you on drugs or something?? 2.71SE-C is the new 1.5...it offers 99% of the functionality of 1.5...but now you aren't constantly going into devhook to get to 2.71...it's already there...and since iso's show up in the XMB (With No-UMD needed to be inserted) it makes it a whole lot easier and quicker to get to iso's.
