Please help! The UMD drive on my psp is broken. Not even showing up on the psp. I have loads of old ISO's which I used to play using fastloader on FW 1.50 but now the UMD drive is broken they won't play. I have updated the FW to 2.17 SE-C as I was under the impression it played ISO's without the need for a UMD but it just won't work. I can see the game on the PSP but when I open it I just get an error saying the game could not be started (80020321).
Can anyone assist? Do the ISO's need to be in a particular format or something. As far as I know they are just copies of originals but I can't be sure as they are all on cd's that came with the psp when I bought it.

Just create a folder called ISO in the root of you MS, the very same used in DevHook.
Install RECOVERY and enabled NO UMD and most of your ISO,s should play fine.

Download this and select the install RECOVERY option.
Once installed it will show a corrupt data icon in the GAME menu, DO NOT DELETE IT.
Once you have that done get back to me.

It's ok mate. I decided to go into the recovery on the psp and there it was clear as day. NO UMD... Enabled it and i'm now working. Cheers mate your a star
