Hey, i followed the guide on these forums upgrading my firmware to 2.71 successfully and successfully emulating 1.5.

I'm now trying to get ISOs to work but without much luck. I either can't get into devhook at all (like now, when i go to the henc image it just freezes and psp turns off)

or when i do get into devhook, i select the iso, firmware 2.71, then press start. it seems to do something then just goes back into the psp's menu (which has changed to the anime backgrounds) but the iso doesnt start.

sorry for the n00bish q but what have i been doing wrong? i've tried 3 iso's so far. i haven't hardly used my psp for a few months after my original one (with 1.5 :( ) had to be replaced and they gave me a 2.60 so i havent used homebrew or iso's on it til trying now.

any help would be awesome :D

okay ignore this, i just read round the forum and didn't realise some people have to use a umd - working ok now ! thanks for the very helpful forum here though!
