I burn with Nero and never had a problem, now all of a sudden one of my DVD player won't read the disc I make. My other 2 players and PS2 works.... just that one now won't read any back up disc. Could it be a Nero problem, I usually burn with "DVD movie"... I heard you can burn another way with Nero that will work with standalone player. Should I update Nero I think I have version 5.5.9.17. Also I haven't change my type of disc (TDK's - R), I know they are good disc. Any other suggestion would be gladly appreciated.
IT seems to me that you have 3 DVD players? But one DVD player won't work?
If this is the case you can just about bet that maybe the format you burned it in was just a little different than the others, or if the third DVD player won't read your disks at all maybe that one is broken. Though if I'm completly off the topic I'm sorry (your not to clear) so I think this website could help you out, it did clear up a few things for me around this topic.
Strang thing is that I haven't change the way I burned... But the player plays the back up disc that I make like a month ago, I was thinking it was the batch of TDKs I bought at Target ??? I tried other discs and the same result...so I'm thinking its the way I'm burning...maybe I should just upgrade to Nero 6.
1. Nero has done the problem - upgrade to a later version the 17 is about 9 months old now -the latest is 5.5.10.42 - see if this works
(early versions caused hit and miss burns)
2. You may have had a bad batch - send the rest back - THEY will be warrantied
:-) Dont you mean they WILL ne warrantied. Rather than THEY will be warrantied. Emphasizing the THEY as opposed to the WILL meaning that they have to be refunded. ;-)
Oh, im such a pain in the ass. Only kidding of course lol
yes Oriphus you ARE correct and you ARE a pain in the ass - I believe the emphasis is emphasised in the correct places there.......LOL
No offence, man - cos that was real funny - baaaaaaa........!
Yeah - I deal with svp - blankdiscshop.co.uk, and I had some media off them which just hopped/skipped/jumped all over the place, now I had purchased an ealier batch previous to this which were fine...bad batch....
I informed them, they said send the remaining media back, and they will replace OR refund - my choice....no questions asked - even freepost..so no costs to return
Superb service - and aftersales service, so I will only deal with them now as they offer a full warranty with ANY product they supply.....
Sirmugen, hope you get your issue sorted, let us know if you get a result.....
