Hi There i am all new to the world of video editing so a little help would be much appreciated,

i have recently borrowed a few dvds of of a friend to copy, i have used DVD Shrink to burn them to my hard drive but i want to convert them in to AVI files so they dont take up as much space.

I have looked hi and low on the web but cannot seam to get anywere, i would love it if someone could sugest a program ( FREE ) that can join several vts ( VOB ) files together and then convert them succefully to one AVI file .

Ok first off dont use Shrink, use DVD Decrypter and then use Auto Gk (both progs are free) to rip it to small avis ;)

problem is i have already used DVD Shrink and dont want to ask for the dvds again and i wanted the files in one big AVI file like the ones you download off the net.

ive never used auto gk and dont know where to start, i have installed program but how do i add all of the video ts files
