Music on Photo Slideshow

I can make a great photo slideshow, but I can't get the music to play. I have tried using MP3's and WAV files, but neither plays on my DVD [player. Waht file format should I be using for the music files in Nero to make a VCD photo slideshow with music?

When you add media, you can look at the drop down box that normally says "all Supported files" and see what files are supported. All the ones you mention are there. You have to add the audio files to the audio tab, next to the picture tab. The music should play normally.

You are keeping the file available while you transcode the project, right?

When you say DVD player, do you mean set top, or the computer?

By DVD player, I mean a set top player

I added the files to the audio tab and have the files for the MP3's or WAV's in the same directory the pictures are in. I create a special directory for the VCD project so that I am not touching the original picture files when I am doing the transcoding. Probably paranoid, but better safe than sorry. After the transcode is done and the disc burned, it plays in the set top dvd player, but there is no audio. I am at a loss. It looks so easy, and i get no error messages, so I thought it was working, but no sound. Not just once, bhut multiple times.

What I would suggest is to check the audio settings on the DVD player. See if you have options as to what type of sound is being played. You may have burned the sound in a format you set top player doesn't normally use. Maybe something like a bitstream or PCM audio.

Does the sound work on the computer when played?
