Do presets come with Nero Ultra Edition ver. 7? I'm using WaveEditor 3.5.6.0 and according to the manuals I've downloaded, it is suppose to have presets, but, mine doesn't have them. If it does, then where are they or how do I install them?

Maybe I don't understand your question. Presets are pre-defined settings for doing certain things. If you open a tool for doing something like "Chorus", it has the sliders pre set for a basic change. If you want the sliders in a different place to perhaps change the modulation or delay, you can move them, but I would think the preset positions on those sliders would be considered "PreSets".

I'm sorry I didn't make myself clear. Some audio programs call them presets and others may call them templates. It is a setting that is saved with a name and if you want to use that setting you just click on presets, etc. and find the one you want to use. These are settings that come with the programs not some that you have created and saved yourself. Sorry for the confusion.

I think I see what you mean. On page 32 of the help file, section 7, it talks about presets and it says open the "dialogue concerned". If I am getting what they mean, first add an audio file to the project. Next open some tool you want to use on the wave file after selecting a portion of it. Across the bottom of the tool window is a line that contains entries such as "Active Channels", "Bypass", etc with a drop down box. Click the down arrow on the drop down box and maybe that is what you are looking for. To save you own presets, you probably make some changes the way you like and then click the + to save the new name.
