I just purchased a new Lite-On 165H6S from Newegg and was just wondering what everybody here thought about the various Lightscribe media?

Who would you rank the best Verbatim? HP? Philips? or any other manufacturer that i just might be missing on the Lightscribe media

I know on normal DVD media i would be going with Verbatim...my old Lite-On 1633s just died after putting probably 5000 discs through it over its lifetime....but this is my first Lightscribe burner so i wanted to ask everybodys opinion before i got any new media for it.

piratech-HP lightscribe- is CMC crap media - bought some and would even work on the label side in a lightscribe benq DW-1655 returned for refund - go verbatim

thanks i figured the HP stuff was crap but wanted ask first.....im sure ill go with the Verbatim i never have a problem with any of their stuff

Definitely verbatim when it comes to lightscribe,ignore the rest. Top notch for DL media and among the top 2 for single layer media.
