Hi i am new in this i Buy the NEC 3550A i install the burner in slave position couple days later i remove my old CD-RW and i put the DVD burner in primary in with DMA Not in PIO i update the Firmware with Liggy and Dee's 31.Y6 RPC1 Firmware Package because was slow around 1.7 X of speed but now i try to burn a DVD and around 12 to 14 % got stuck i am using roxio easy meadia creator 7 and try to burn with Nero 7 but still the same happen is my DVD burner bad or i have a wrong setting for get the DVD out i need to restar the PC because the burner don't even open so please any HELPPPP

You have both roxio and Nero installed. Nero conflicts with Roxio and can cause errors in burning. I suggest you run this tool to get rid of Roxio and see if it helps :-)
