I ripped the update out and cso'd it to 699mb, Loads fine, It gets past the loading screen, then it returns it to the XMB Saying the game could not be started. Anyone get any luck loading this with devhook 2.71, should I try it with the new devhook. The only reason why Im hesitant to play with the new devhook is I've heard a lot of people having a lot of problems with it. Please lmk ny progress with this game

I tried this one too and got the same results (using emulated .46 devhook due to motherboard constraints).

I have accidentaly 'figured out' how to play it wht .46 and 2.71.

Since I have a TA-082 version - I have to use HEND and run in emulation mode. I am running DEVHOOK Launcher/VSHEX Mod (followed steps outlined in this 'howto' http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/399310 ). If I can run this ISO even though everything is running from mem stick - then anybody should be able to do it.

I was trying to figure out how to make a regular UMD (you know - the kind you BUY at a game store) play while using devhook and so instead of chosing 2.71 from mem stick (in devhook options menu) I chose 2.71 flash. And guess what? I am still not able to run my real, purchaed UMD; but Star Wars Lethal Alliance that was previously failing in exactly the same way you described now loads just fine.

Pls let me know if this info is enough or if you need step by step isntructions (which would have to assume you are running the same devhook version in order for you to see the same menu options as me).

Thx,
Michae

Thanks mchomicz, but it was a bad dump I received
The Pikmin release is no good, but the lightforce eur release works perfectly, thanks for all your help guys.

Also, run as ISO, do not compress to cso or it will lag.

Im on devhook .50, but I hear it works just as well with previous versions, as long as your sfo version is set to 2.00 to 2.XX
