hi guys. hope you can help me, my son has a psp with FW 2.01 is there a way i can upgarde it to a 2.71 so he can play iso's?, i have a 2.71 myself and i can now play them after following this link http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/413913, but dunno how to go about it with a 2.01 and dont fancy messing with the flash.

thanks pspcrazy2, but i dont really want to downgrade it to 1.50. you see, my psp is 2.71 and it already plays iso's by using the guide in the link in my 1st post. all i wanted to know really is.. how do i upgrade to 2.71 from a 2.01...thanks

you can downgrade straght from 2.01 with the same risk as updating....but any ways connect psp to pc>navigate to the GAME menue>in GAME create a fodler called UPDATE (capitals needed!) then place this EBOOT.PBP inside here.... http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/525

ALso it doesn tmatter what FW update it is so dnt worry about it...
