Getting Read error during copied DVD play back

I have been using DVDFab to back up my DVD's and play them in my car and home. I usually take out all the menus etc. I seem to get a lot of disks that will freeze on my DVD player in the car or home system. I use Nero 7 and a Memorex external DVD Burner with Memorex DVD+r's. Is there a way to reduce this annoying problem?

Theses are horrible discs and more than likely the cause, I recommend Verbatim or Sony (made in japan)

Few other things may want to check:
°firmware on the burner up to date?
°what speed are you burning at - may need to take it down a notch or 2.

A couple other brands to use Taiyo Yuden - (instore) look for made in Japan Fuji or Sony sometimes Maxells if a lower burn speed will be but Maxell made in japan are good too.

When you get old you have trouble sleeping. I had already slept 2 hrs before I arose to stay up for 1 1/2 hr before going back to bed. Don't have to work today but going to contiuning education course on CPR at noon. So killing time before relearning to save someone. LOL
