I'm using DVD 2SVCD and Craft encoder to convert my avi,s to SVCD,s,problem is the sound track more often than not plays fast,if theres speech they sound like chipmunks, only one time has the video and sound matched up but not because of something i done, but on this occasion the picture was quite blocky,it was a dvd rip so the quality before conversion was crystal clear.Any help appreciated, thanks!

Oh yes,i've suffered from your problem, what actually happens is all the actors who star in films actually shoot two versions of the one film, they shoot one talking normally then another they talk really fast! This is a copyright feature of the film companies, whenever someone tries to copy any film illegally the fast version of the film kicks in as a deterrent for those copying films, use this forum again whenever you like, its the most helpful on the internet, you'll get lots of answers, not!

True but I was thinking if he used one of the CCE 2.6 ver. it might be having problems cordinaing the video with the DVD2SVCD audio.. But I never really understood how that completely works so you would know better than I would Dela!

The new DVD2SVCD has less problems with newer versions of CCE!
