Trouble capturing video from Hitachi DVDcam to PC

I'm currently use Hitachi DZ-MV 208E(SW) and PC kit DZ-WINPC3W to capture my images. But when I'm using my PC (that is P3 500, with 128MB RAM, and 4Mb VGA Card, with also more than 20GB of hard disk, and Windows98SE as OS) the USB connection recognize the dvd cam as drve F:, but nothing in it. I can play the contents through PowerDVD, but I cannot capture the image via Ulead Videotoolbox, howcome???
Since when I'm using my P4 laptop, with 256Mb RAM and Windows XP, it can work very well.
Please help me!

have you got this working yet, i have heard of the same problem and that there is some info on the hitachi websit.
